Great atmosphere, great attitude of the bar staff, beer choice was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious - a limited choice, but all looked great. What&#39;s not to love!

Tried Saint Peter in Paddington at noon today. Sydney&#39;s best restaurant of 2018. The store is not big, the overall decoration is also a cold style, focusing on seafood, especially fish (St. Peter is the patron saint of fishermen). The dishes are very good, the head plate is sea urchin Donuts, very fresh white bay sea urchin sashimi on the donuts, with dip seasoning, the effect is surprisingly good. The main dish is today&#39;s chef specializing in fried small swordfish sandwiches, the sauce is Greek yogurt miscellaneous vegetables, although the overall level of surprise is not as good as the head plate but it is also remarkable. Soft, off-side white bread, crisp fried fish shells and tender, shellfish with bullets form a rich layer of flavor, but the sauce is slightly sour, if sweeter, it can be more suitable for my taste. Finally, it must be emphasized that his family is very cost-effective, basically the average price of the average meal in Sydney, suitable for eating often.

This is a must to eat at. Fresh Italian restaurant without tomato paste covering everything. Looking forward to going to this restaurant again. The pretzels are amazing.

The pizza bases seem  but cardboardy  compared to other pizzerias around. The toppings are fine.

Popular. I like waffles, and the specially crispy waffles baked are poured with a layer of chocolate sauce. The sweet taste is delicious and the rich chocolate fragrance is very intoxicating. Recommend the store&#39;s fancy coffee, very authentic coffee

We dropped in during our vivid experience. We were seated quickly, Orders taken and drinks arrived. A lovely spot. We shared a Schnitzel, shoestring fries and salt and pepper squid for a family or 3 - with teenage daughter. Quite nice - table salt and pepper - or at least offered would have lead to a higher review. All good thanks.

Hi the service was not good. Once you got the attention of the wait staff they were good and would get you what you wanted but didn&rsquo;t give us enough plates or cutlery . The food and wine took ages to come out and we had to ask for it after we had ordered. Our table was also not ready when we arrived and we waited about 15 minutes before suiting down. The staff were just too busy I felt sorry for them

Another in the Merivale formula. Great renovation of the pub, a classy makeover. Liked the retention of the bar at the rear. Food is pub style rotisserie and we shared lamb, chicken and beef. All were good. I would forget the appetisers which were expensive and minuscule. It was especially hard to find the kingfish on the plate. Sharing mains makes for an economical meal. Service was effective, all looked like backpackers. No warmth in the service, they were just there to do a job. Like other Justin Hemmes places, noise is part of the scene and the tiles do not help acoustics. We would go back but probably for lunch to miss the chatterati.

Certainly an attractive, cleverly designed environment, but service could be more magnanimous and the prices I feel are well beyond what is essentially a &#39;pub&#39;, where you have your cutlery etc in a &#39;pot&#39;. That said, my $39 trout was engaging but overpriced.
